T-BALL!!!!

We had our first t-ball practice yesterday afternoon!! After a very trying 45mnts of getting ready (nothing was acceptable for little miss diva), we got to the park and she had a BLAST! I give the coaches kudos, the practice was really awesome. So much better than I expected!! She loved it and can't wait for next practice...

Playing catch with Kennedy
Checking out her glove.

This was what I was in charge of...babies!!! I can handle this duty :)

Doing running drills :)
Treyce, Mabelle's boyfriend ;)

Practicing hitting...and at home, she knows to run the bases. At practice, when 10 kids run directly at you after you've hit the ball....you run the opposite direction!! LOL!

Bases loaded...with lots of moms!

Mabelle fielding the ball..is that the correct lingo?? Maybe Jason should be doing this blog entry (he did miss the first practice, but hoping he can come to the next one).

Practicing running bases.

Kennedy's sis, Kadyn looking super interested in the practice.
And Cash goofing off :)
This sitting moments was a rare one..he wanted to run in that lush, pretty grass!

Can you tell he's ornery?? Oh my...

Mabs, Treyce and Kenn goofing off.

Cash joining the little clowns.

Rolling down the hill after practice (I was at the top of the hill taking pics...weird angle)

All of her friends rolling

And of course, no tree goes unhugged.

Posing Pirates :)

And another school outfit...she's hilarious! And school is so much better now that she drops off in a new teacher's room (Kennedy's teacher). Not a single tear since we started Miss Terry's room. Wooohoooo!
Isabel...are you responsible for this pose?? The toe point? LOL!

A favor from our good friend's party we missed cause of our sickies...how adorable is that?!?!

The tail-end of Roseola

That virus was awful for Cash, he was definitely not himself...screaming alot :( Here's what he looked like if he wasn't sleeping or holding him. Warning..it's sad. Our poor sweet Cashy!

Diary of a Virus..

Day One was good, had a great day and the fever started that night. A tell tale sign that something is brewing....he's so exhausted that he even falls asleep on the bathroom floor as I'm brushing Mabelle's teeth! Poor thing!

Day Two: Dropped Mabelle off at school and Cash was still running a fever. We assumed it was teeth. He didn't eat much that day, but still was enticed by feeding yogurt to himself , while his gummies & pringles were still a good go-to. Crashed on Daddy with his teether. Day Three...the food strike begins. We are giving him tyelnol and still assuming teeth, although we are starting to question ourselves. He's pulling on his teeth, not eating, has his fever and wants to just lay and watch Max&Ruby. The nonstop screaming starts this night...high-pitched for two hours straight. And his fever peaks at 102.7 (that we saw).
Day Four, screaming nonstop continues. Call and get him a doctor's appointment, Doc says it's one of three viruses, and we'll know when it has run its course which one it is. Treat with lots of fluids, tyelnol for discomfort and rest. Later that day I captured his screaming...sad.
Day Five, Daddy gets to experience the screaming! His fever subsides a little, it's in the 99 range now. But some redness starts to appear....above his eyebrow. He's still super cranky and not eating.

Day Five continued...he does finally chow down on some ice cream.
Day Five still...and again, crashes on the couch. Jason said he crawled up there on his own, laid down and fell asleep while me and Mabelle were running errands.

Day Six (today)...no fever!! YAHOOOOO! But looky looky what has made an ugly appearance...Roseola. Looks almost like measels, but we are certain this is what it is. The rash itself doesn't bother him and the fever is gone, he's still teething and cranky. But the rash is a sign that the virus is almost gone!

You can see them raised here on his back:
Closer on his face, theyre all over his face...nose and on both sides of his head into his hair!
More of them on his back :(

The other side of his face and his belly.

School...happy now??

Mabelle and her school...oh how she loves it, loves to be there, but does NOT like hanging out for the hour before her teacher arrives, in the OTHER preK room. She cries and cries, says "I like Ms. Ella, not Ms. Ella's class. The kids are loud!!". Who would have ever thought one loud child would not like other loud children?? LOL! Well, so this past Thursday we dropped her off and they were still in the very first EARLY class (before Ms Ella's class they have to wait in Ms Terry's class--if they're there before 8am). They were running late this morning so we went in there and it was Kennedy's class, her very very good friend. So she cried a little, went potty and then stayed in there til 9 when Ms. Malika arrived. She said she loved it, so we are going to BEG to see if she can stay in Ms Terry's (3 year old) class until her teacher arrives and bypass Ms Ella's all together.

The full shot her eyes were a little closed...but in case you're wondering: her toe is pointed out and her lunchbox is Wall-E. And it is a dress with flip flops (sprinkle flips, her new fav cause they "feel like I put pillows on my feet"...thanks JEN!).

The Family visits!

This past week we had a few visitors...it was GREAT! We had a fabulous time relaxing with Mimi, Papa, Weezer, Matylda, Uncle David, Noelle & Justin. We went shopping, cruised to Red Rock and Hoover Dam. We even were able to squeeze in a couple of swimming days and a few trips out without babies (me and Weezer! CRAZY!). I cannot even express how much the kids love having their family around, and we do too! And I appreciate all the help with the babies--although they don't even see it as help, just as spending time with the kids. We LOVED seeing our sweet niece, Matylda and cannot believe how big she has gotten. She's got such a sweet little personality and is too darn cute for words!! The time always seems to go by too fast. I could go on, but let's let our wonderful week in pictures show all the fun we had!! (we won't mention the nights we went out...and were big fat losers, but the time out was worth it ;))

A couple of weeks ago...whoa! Has it been that long?!?

So we've just been super busy with preschool two days a week, gymnastics, dance and tumbling. And t-ball starts soon too...ack! I need to cut some of the activities down or I might go crazy! LOL! September is also a major birthday month for all our friends (and us), so we've been to several parties and Mabelle has started doing her own cards. See for yourself :

Is that the wicked witch of the East??! Nope...just Cash in his sisters pink spahkly shoes.

Second round of bday gifts...from the Velardes!! She LOVES presents, you can't tell, huh? HAHAHA!

Pure excitement over her spiderman drawing book.

And the same carried over for her pink, spahkly Spiderman tee!!

All of her loot...tea set, personalized bag, spiderman goodies...oh, she was so thrilled!! Thank you sooooo much! She really loved it all!

Drawing the pumpkin from her book :)

Daddy play time....

3rd day of school....really captures the whole dropoff morning. Cried all the way there and when we left. Sad little girl. It'll get better, I know :)
