HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

When you have lemons...make lemonade!
So I REALLY wanted to make the kids a lemon and a lemon wedge (which is hard to talk up for a 3 year old to get excited about), so when she saw a witch in a sales ad, she was hooked. Begged to be a witch and said that Cash could be a lemon, not her (I was heartbroken). Thank goodness I hadn't started making them yet, but we switched, I found an adorable witch that I knew she'd love and off we went on that idea. We decided on The Wicked Witch of the East (from the Wizard of Oz that the house fell on, ruler of Munchkinland..with ruby slippers) and Cash would be a Lollipop Munchkin. Still cute, and in my range of do-able costumes (because of course, I would make both of the costumes...the ENTIRE costumes). Here's our inspirations:

And what we ended up with, Mabelle absolutely LOVED. It's a simple little dress, but she knew exactly who it was and how it transformed her. Too sweet. And Cash...well, he's just so good, he went along with whatever:
Yeah...we put gel in his hair and once again, he's in tights.
The munchkin wanted to eat the rocks.
And the mean Wicked Witch wanted his lollipop!
Hee hee.
She was a little grumpy after I woke her up from her nap, and holding this lollipop made her super happy.
She refused to let me bussel it, to show off her striped leggings and ruby slippers. She is OBSESSED with dresses touching the floor...so I made hers to touch the floor, with tulle to make it poofy.
Ready to go trick or treating...
I'm so happy with how the simply little dress turned out..SUPER impressed with my sleeves and cape (and covering the hat with the red fabric).
Trick or treating. Happy to see blowup decorations!
Hooking up with James to trick or treat. Isn't he an adorable Mickey??
Daddies in tow...ready to go!

Knock knock...TRICK OR TREAT!

Pumpkin Carving at its finest!

We carved some pumpkins last night, and they turned out way too cute! Mabelle had a great time, Jason did all the work, and I took pics :)

Mabelle bossing us around about which pumpkin would be what.

Posing with her little pumpkin.

Helping clean out the guts.

Both of them working on those yucky guts.

I told her to eat it, and she did! HAHAHAHA! We all laughed pretty hard (even her) at that.

It's my nose, Mom!
And turning her frown upside down..

We had mini pumpkins for Cash to play with, but figured Mabs would freak out if he tried to eat them...so he got to play with an orange. hee hee...

This is me and Cash (giving him a zerbert in his armpit)...goofing off, while the rest of the family works hard on their pumpkins :)
Mabelle's finished masterpiece!

Those Fishy Cheeks.

For those of you who love these cheeks... Here you go, Tracy!!

Just some extras before the Halloween mega posts!

Just some random pics, posted in a random way...hee hee

Cash loves Mabelle's blanky, and anytime he gets his hands on it, he bites it sooo hard! LOL!

Cash in the ball pit...loves it!

A pic from our Missouri visit..makes me smile. Papa Joe (my dad) and Cash.

Playgroup Halloween Party!

We went to our Playgroup's Halloween party, and it was so much fun. The kids had a great time, and they all looked so cute! Although my babies REAL costumes are not yet finished, we improvised with some stand-bys (Mabelle's old costume, and some stuff around the house for Mabelle).

Cash in his tights before we put his costume on...and YES, Jason knows he was in tights. Jason was the one who put them on him!
The Fisherman and her 2 catches...and baby fish and a BABY fish ;)
So happy to be a fisherman (in Cash's 6months overalls, she INSISTED on wearing them!).

And I thought Mabelle was the cutest in this costume when she was little...she has some competition.

Making eyes with Pat...he loooves her!

Mickey Mouse (James) and the hotdog (Hannah)...hot dog, hot dog, hot diggoty dog!
Mabelle hoarding pumpkins again during the pumkin search.

Mabelle and Vee decorating their pumkins.

I just cannot get enough of his fat little face in this costume!!

Mabelle decorating cupcakes.

The Fall Vegetable, House & dance :)

We went to the Fall Festival this weekend, and Mabelle loved it and kept saying, "I wanna go back to the Fall Vegetable". Too funny!! Jason even sounded it out for her, and she would follow his lead til she had to say it all together...fes-ti-val....vegetable! Here's our fun at the Fall Vegetable in 80+ degree weather.

Mabelle picking out her free pumpkin..she went back several times, trying to sneak in extra pumpkins!

This was her 2nd trip in for a pumpkin...

Her Dracula trick-or-treat sack...courtesy of Albertsons, with the pumpkins!

Seeing the American Family booth with Snow While and Cinderella...THE highlights of the morning!

Just a sneak peek of her recital dance...only a SNEAK PEEK!
Playing chalk, I realized I hadn't posted a pic of the house since we moved in...can you see Mabelle on the front porch??

HAPPY 9 MONTHS, CASH-Y!

So our sweet little man is 9 months today (on his Sissy's 30th birthday), and he is such a little character. He babbles alot, loves to give zerberts to Mabelle, and cruises with the best of them! He loves Mabelle to no end, and still has yet to figure out how to swallow solid food. He really is the sweetest little baby, except when he wants to go to sleep and has a germy bug. How is our baby already 9 months :(

Patting his belly...
Smiling proudly...cause he's the little brother ;)

Just a funny little smile. LOL!
