HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

She actually wore it!!!!! Only after she discovered this little thing called "candy"...whoa is that a great bribery tool!! I guess after keeping it a secret for 2 years, we've done ok...and it's only ONE day, right? She loved her cupcake costume, she got soo much attention in it and everyone who saw it loved it. ENJOY THE CUPCAKE...it's vanilla with pink frosting, and sprinkles with a cherry on top. (She picked out everything, and I made it...she even picked out her pink sparkly shoes.) The cherry didn't last the whole night, it was a little heavy and fell off her head, so we did a red bow too :) Oh, and we had a bucket of sprinkles as her candy bucket :)

It's the perfect cupcake!!

You can kind of see the candy bucket here...complete with modge-podged sprinkles on it :)
Heading out on our first trick-or-treating excursion...she was sooo "exciting"!
Getting ready to knock and say "trick or treat"...she had to do it all by herself at all 4 houses we went to.
The Baker & the cupcake on our first trick-or-treating event! She had a blast.....and she wants me to tell everyone

"Happy Halloween!!"

The Pumpkin Patch...finally!

We went to the pumpkin patch this weekend, and whoa was it REALLY a pumpkin patch. It was super windy, dusty, and cold...but Mabs loved it! Even with a runny nose from the cold & windy conditions. Notice the outfit change halfway thru....we added a hat and put some jeans on her--brrrrrrrr......

ENJOY the picture overload--there were way too many experiences and cuteness to choose from!

Mabs looking at the bunny that you aren't supposed to touch...you could lose a finger!
Mabs & her BFF, Charlee, walking with Daddy.
Climbing up to get to the little slide.
Looking at the sheep...complete with her hands in her sweatshirt!
In the chicken house.
It's those sheep again...eating pumpkins!

Going on the BIG slide....after of course, it was tested out by Charlee's Daddy.

She loved that BIG slide!

The little family on the Hayrack Ride...she liked the tractor that pulled us...it was "loud"!

Touching the cornstalks in the corn maze.

Papa Joe giving her some corn and teaching her how to pick it off...which is now one of her favorite things to do!

Picking the "candy corns" off...

Posing with her corn...right before the wardrobe change & potty break!

Hanging out on the pumpkins with Ms. Charlee...still picking her candy corns.

Riding in the wagon.

Picking out her baby pumpkin.

Holding it...with a runny nose.

The Dads carrying the great pumpkin finds back to the wagon!

The Moms carrying the kiddos and the little pumpkin finds back to the wagon!

Ahhh...bless the wagon!

Cheesy photo op....but my goodness, does it get any cuter than this???

Mabelle LOVED this cutout...she wouldn't look at me...just wanted to hang out.

Mabs & Ms. Charlee at the end of the trip! Charlee was soo tired (as was Mabs), but Mabelle was giggling soo hard at her!

A Tie-dying Extravaganzaaaaa!!

A good friend, Sally, came over to help me tie-dye some things...it was AWESOME! I had fun, Mabs had fun, and BONUS, she taught me how to make stromboli too!

Mabs loved to paint clothes, but did NOT like the gloves, so then she just wanted to watch.

The finished products, pictures don't do them justice!!

Just this and that

Just a few pics from last & this week...

Opening a Halloween card from a good friend...where you found a Cinderella Halloween card, Tracy..I don't know!! LOL!
GO MIZZOU!
Drawing Daddy with her HUGE Tinkerbell pencil.
It's HUGE...I can't even write with it!
Peek-a-boo, Momma!

This is the face I get, when I ask her to say cheese!

Helping Daddy find and pick up dog poo...that ended in her actually picking up poop with her bare hands....YUCKO!

My little tree hugger...she hugs them, and screams "my friend".

The Secret Masterpiece that went ka-plooey!

So we painted the pumpkins black, and then I painted the letters on them...and was waiting to add the glow in the dark paint to just the letters. I hot-glued them together, because everyone said a dowel rod thru them, would make them a goopy mess. Well, then they wouldn't stand up by themselves, because they leaned. Ugh! So I propped them against the counter, so that I could think of a good way to get them to stand on their own. TWO days went by...and I went to move them...MOLDY MESS! The mold had went thru the 2 dish towels I had them propped up against!! The final result would've sat in a silver bucket, glowed, and looked oh-so-cute on my porch. Oh well, maybe I'll figure it out by next year. Still don't know how they molded, they weren't punctured or anything!

25 Weeks

Yup, it's what you've been waiting for...I think I'm larger with Mabelle!!! I'm carrying differently with this pregnancy, but from the pics...I definitely look further out there with Mabs. This little guy is currently housed in my ribs (big time ouchie), but my stretch marks on my stomach are getting worse...how does that work??? And yes, I photoshopped those out..might as well use my talents for something!

We have some news....

Well, ladies and gentleman...babies, toddlers, and kiddos....dogs, kitty cats, and goldfish...

It's official....IT'S A BOY!!!!!!

Everything is still looking great, baby is growing at a normal rate...I don't have gestational diabetes (had the glucose test today), I've only gained 14 lbs...and all is well in my uterus!!!

And I can't believe I'm doing this to him already...but Mom embarassing him HAS to start at some point, right?? If you look closely, in the first picture you can see the scrotum (which I'm pretty sure, he's pointing at!!!!!!), and in the second picture, the penis (plain as day):

Our Halloween Masterpiece...still in the works!

Mabelle and I are creating a Halloween masterpiece, and she is loving every minute of it! We painted some pumpkins earlier this week...with the intentions of getting the project finished this weekend. We are on schedule and it's looking...ummm...just ok. It's not turning out as I planned, and could be a disaster at any minute, but the most important thing is that she's loved helping Momma!!

Oh goodness, this is her new "face"...isn't it the cutest!!
Concentrating really hard to get every inch of that pumpkin black.
Smiling for Momma...I don't get these pics very often. Isn't she the frickin' cutest??
Being soo careful with the paint.
Telling me that she's "sooo exciting" about painting the pumpkins.
Seriously..can you see that joy in her eyes?? Stay tuned for pictures of the finished masterpiece!!
