Cash rolls the other way too!

So I posted a video awhile back of Cash rolling from tummy to back at 2 weeks old...at 4 months he now rolls the other way too!

Cash's Checkup & Cuddles

We had a visit with our NEW pediatrician, Dr. Conti, yesterday and he is fab-u-lous. I really liked him, and so did Cash. He's very good, comes highly recommended, sooo kid friendly (sang to Cash and played with him during his checkup)..he even wore a Hawaiian shirt..no stuffy medical jacket. hahaha! He agrees with our modified vaccine schedule, and is very parent supportive. Anyhoo...Cash was 16lbs even, and we were given the green light to start foods. Cash got one shot, and cried one little scream, and continued smiling at the nurses...he's a tough boy (I'm sure Mabelle wallering on him has NOTHING to do with it...wink, wink). So here's some pics of our sweet babies:

Always happy.

His new favorite thing...sucking onhis fingers and playing with his toes. Mabelle eating her ice cream cone in the background :)
How cute is this outfit...its Italian, from Italy (thanks Sissy & Nic)!
Cuddling.
Cuddling a sleeping Daddy.
Daddy woke up...playing.
Mabs playing with little man.
Mabelle telling me how it is....like always.

Happy 4 Months Cash! (and Mama too)

Our little man turned 4 months on the 25th, and is getting so big. He's started on cereal, is rolling every time Daddy's NOT looking, and is just so sweet & content. We go to a new doctor this week for 2 vaccinations and to see how big our little man is. No pics this time, just 2 bad quality videos!
A grainy, phone video of a happy, happy baby!

Another grainy video...of that same sweet baby boy, but he was too happy for just one video :)

And Cash eats!

So we all know Cash is a chunky little man. Well, I started him on cereal yesterday and I think once he figures out how his mouth & eating works, he will be an eating fool! We fed him when he was hungry, and he kept diving for the spoon, and trying to suck everything on the spoon down. It had to be watery for him to get used to the texture, and so most of it ended up on his bib or hands or tray or me, but what he got in his tummy, he sure did enjoy! He was frustrated with the fact that it wasn't a steady flow of food, I just couldn't keep up with him wanting to eat!

Cereal.
Yup, chunky eating REAL food.

Lots of Catchup...all bulked into one post!

Ok, so we arrive in Vegas...go to the doctor for Mabs sickies the day after (we did not like her, so she has been crossed off the long list of potential doctors)....and then 2 very long weeks later, our movers arrive with our stuff!!! It was awful, since I was told a few days (NOT 2 weeks), and we packed for a few days..thank goodness for our family & friends helping us thru those awful weeks. During that time: Mabs got better (it was a virus), Cash & I got sick, Cash rolled for the first time from back to tummy, Mabelle fell/flipped down the stairs (Jason caught her a few steps before she hit the tile floor), we've had a bunch of playdates (including Chuck E. Cheese-forgot my camera), and have started a house hunt. Here's proof of our adventures :)

Cash in mid-roll...
Sick Mabelle in a half-built car (I finished putting it together, with only one small injury).
Sick Mabelle in awe over the onion ring stack at Red Robyn...hahaha!
Sick Mabelle feeling better after her corndogs arrived!
Mabelle is OBSESSED with the Statue of Liberty, so this is her celebrity picture!!
Enjoying her morning ice cream in her newly finished Barbie car.
Showing us that she can drive.

Sharing with James...he is an excellent driver!!
There's ALWAYS crack at our house...Cash fits right in!

Mimi & Mabelle...notice our lovely furniture (darn movers....grrrr).
Cash enjoying his borrowed Bumbo from James.

Princess Mabelle in her new Barbie Princess dress, showing Cash how his toys work.
This is her 'loving' him, which consists of her invading his space and saying 'aaaawwww'. Can you see their matching outfits?
In her Barbie car, Barbie dress, and holding a Barbie...
Eating a toy. The boy loves to eat.
Thumbs up.

Dancing with Great Grandma, Alma.
My 2 sweet boys laughing..puts a smile on my heart!
Ignore me, I look cra-zeee, but how funny is Cash's face!
Enjoying bubbles with Pat, James, Grandma Alma & Grandpa Don.
Cash cooing & smiling with Grandma.

One of our playdates at a park with sprinklers...Mabs loooved it!
Running thru the sprinklers.

Goofball.
Did I say goofball?

Playing blocks.
Eating, but look how long her hair is getting!
Cash going cross-eyed at his bebe pod chair toy...hee hee
At another playdate at Pump It Up, my camera died after this pic (boo battery), but Mabelle continued to do this slide by herself the entire time!

16 hours, 3 dogs, 2 kids...one van.

THE roadtrip was good. The first day we got off to a late start (a day later than expected), with the first of our movers drama (which included them staying til 2am the day before, and not having enough room on the truck for our stuff, and having to return the next day to pick up the rest of it)...and decided to drive 10ish hours, and get the major chunk of the drive out of the way. The kids were GREAT! Mabelle loved the mountains, and I have officially become an expert nurser-while-in-the-carseat mama. They didn't have too many meltdowns, and it was such a beautiful drive. The dogs panted the WHOLE time, and just about made me crazy. But once we got to the hotel for the night, Jason realized that all of a sudden Mabelle had a temp of 102.4. Gave her tyelnol, she was restless all night, and once we got up Monday to finish the last leg of the drive, we realized she still had a high temp, and called our dear friends in Vegas to make us a doc appt for her the next day. She was miserable the last 6 hours of the drive, and whined ALOT. But we understood, since she felt like ca-ca. Got to Vegas early afternoon, and were so relieved to get to our rental house.

Jason driving.
My sweet happy girl on Day 1, watching Ariel, while Cash slept (see him in the mirror) & the dogs panting...fun!
Day 2...sickies invaded. Doesn't she just loooook miserable?
The only thing she would even eat...a donut with....(wait for it)....sprinkles!
No pictures of the mountains...all taken from the car window, since it was evening on Day 1 and we didn't stop and the next day was consumed with sickies. But they were gorgeous, worth the drive!

Leaving Kearney...

So it's been awhile, but we have a ton to catch you up on...we left Kearney. Jason had a surprise going away party, and we had a few last playdates with Mabelle's BFF, Charlee. It was all sad, but we're sure that all of our friends will take advantage of free room rates at Hotel Tritten :) to come visit us!

Mabs & Charlee on Shauna's lap.
Giving each other hugs!
Getting ready to play at Ballocity.
Making their Dads have a little fun on the slides!
And then it was Shauna's turn...I had a few too, I'm the only one who has a finger to take pics with, so that's why I'm not in these ;)
Playing some of the games with Daddy...she has an arm!
Awww...their good-bye hug!
Our picnic area, while we waited days for the movers.
Cash in his excersaucer for the first time...hee hee
Trying to lick every finger at the same time...goofball!
