Trick or Treat!!

Our little babies this year had a blast trick-or-treating...I made their costumes again and I'm super happy with how they turned out (a few changes I'd have made, but overall..cuteness!!)

Stuffing Cash into the red jacket...
He's loving it, we tricked him and told him he was Max (from Max and Ruby), instead of who he really was...

Loving it!

Getting her makeup done

Kneeling next to Cash...not sure why...lol!

Not a very happy white rabbit..he wanted to be held, not photographed.
Alice in Wonderland and the white rabbit.

Beautiful Alice
Stinking adorable! (I made everything except the rabbit outfit and his red jacket)

Walking to our friends house to go trick-or-treating

Arghhhh...it's a pirate, the white rabbit and Alice!

Canvasing the neighborhood

Knocking...and Cash cheesing...it's what he does best!

Going to James' house to trick or treat :)

Waiting...she was so into it this year, it was great!!

Loungin in the wagon, he got tired of walking, but walked ALOT before he caved.

Her candy...soooo excited! Can you tell??
And can you believe not one person said anything about their costumes?!?! I'm still amazed (and annoyed...hahaha) about that. Anyhoo, they were adorable and had a blast trick-or-treating with James the pirate!

Halloween Day

Halloween today was alot of fun! We were lazy for alot of the day...baked cupcakes, ate candy, made candy, and just vegged. It was sooo nice!

Here's my little grumpy man, he eventually took a 3hour nap on the couch and woke up much happier!

She says that's her mean face. I think it's her beautiful face.
Yummy ice cream treats!

Stealing the skull cupcakes I made...no pics of them, they did not turn out as cute as the sugar skull candy we made later...yum! I need to upload a pic from my phone of those :)

GO MIZZOU!!

Helping decorate cupcakes...Cash did alot of pointing and eating as his part of the help.

And cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesin.

Yummy scary cupcakes :)

Carving Pumpkins!

After trying to plan a day late enough in the season to carve pumpkins and getting put off because of sickies, we were able to carve pumpkins today!! No pumpkin patch this year..again, the early October pukies put a halt to that and then it was open weird hours when Jason was working or Mabelle was in school..either way...grocery store pumpkins will do :)

After showing Mabelle a few designs on the computer, she quickly made her mind up for BOTH pumpkins, little brothers (who don't talk alot) don't get an opinion...she had settled on Jack and Oogey Boogey from Nightmare before Christmas..I tried to reason with her that we needed to do a smiley face jack-0-lantern, and she adamently chanted...Jack and Oogey, Jack and Oogey, Jack and Oogey. Needless to say, that was a battle the 4 year old won ;)

Bought the patterns, while Jason and Mabelle got the pumpkins ready.
De-gooing them :) She thought that was soooo deeeesgusting. Can you tell from her face??Showing me the goo on her hands. (and notice her large owie from falling on the concrete, it matched her birthmark perfectly)

Scraping it, working hard..you can tell by the tongue hanging out.

Jason and Mabelle cheesing...while Cash was screaming, seriously that is not a cheese, it is a shriek.

Pained face. He was super grumpy from no sleep last night...really, no sleep. He was put on the couch to enjoy Max&Ruby while we carved. (and how fitting is his shirt with Mabelle's selections!!)

You gotta get reeeeeeeeeeeeeal close to poke holes.
The results!! Oogey Boogey (the boogeyman) and Jack Skeleton! They turned out great, I carved Oogey and Jason carved Jack. Mabelle assisted on both!

Cash trying to take credit and looking alot like Jack Skeleton..that face!

The kids and their pumpkins :)

Sick...AGAIN!

Well, we've been sick this week...again. I would've wagered a bet that it was swine flu, but after 4 days of fevers, snot, coughing, sneezing and sleepless nights, we took them to the doctor and discovered it was just bad colds! YAY!!!! They tested negative for the flus and are steroids to help the cough recover from the raspy croupish sound it was taking on. But because of these bad colds we missed everything this week: preschool, tumbling, gymnastics, tball, and her class Halloween party (the school is having one on Monday, hoping we can attend it!!). Today is the first day they really seem like they are doing a ton better, besides Cash being sleep deprived and grumpy and Mabelle's persistant cough.

That's one sick baby :(
Didn't leave the house for days...off to play in the playroom together :)

Watching tv together

Then someone stole my socks...

Thru the sickies...still CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESIN

Eating bread for the first time ever...amazing.
Opening a package from Mimi and Papa for Halloween..cool Halloween books!

She couldn't wait to read them! Loves them, thank you!!

And....IT'S FIXED!!

A 2 hour visit to the best pediatric dentistry office in town and it's fixed! Most of that 2 hours was waiting while he squeezed in the procedure after the exam.
Making faces as she waits to get her tooth filled :) she was a rockstar!!!! So proud. She took her Jack so that she wouldn't cry, and she didn't whine/whimper/cry one time the entire morning.
Its fixed!! Sort of...lol! No damage and he was just gonna do a little filling on the sensitive part that was exposed but she sat so well while he was filling it....he decided to build it up even more. Now she's sad she doesn't have a goofy tooth! Lol!! No tears no drugs during the procedure :)

Goofy.

What fun a hideous wig brings...(that I didn't end up wearing and is now in the dress up chest!)...

Cutie Patootie!
He could not wait to get it on and then stood so still yelling "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese".

Mabelle posing with him, he's staring at that curl in his face...hilarious!

I'm glad he loves getting his picture taken :) Anytime he sees the camera come out, it's an instant "cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese"

Fall Festival

We had a t-ball game Saturday morning and was going to be cutting it really close to making it to the fall festival in our community, so decided to make the drive to our friend's house and head to their fall festival...it was not good at all. But we had good company so it wasn't a loss at all! Cash and Daddy stayed home while Cash snoozed.

Mabelle and her 'boyfriend', Treyce. Daddy had to keep these two seperated at their t-ball game because they were trying to kiss each other on the lips...we got home and had the talk about kissing. Yay for putting the fear of germs in her!! LOL!
They are too cute, they love each other...peas in a pod.
At the festival, decorating pumpkins.

Posing with her pumpkin

Having way more fun playing with Treyce!

Chasing butterflies at the park after we ditched the festival.
Disappointed they couldn't catch the yellow butterfly.

Hand in hand.

Cracking each other up.

They went down this slide a bazillion times!
