Trimming the tree!

Jason and I set up the tree Wednesday night, and Thanksgiving morning when Mabelle woke up, she was sooo excited to decorate the tree. She asked us nonstop, all day, when she was going to decorate the tree. After nap and dinner, we FINALLY let her decorate!

Waking up to the tree...

Cash waking up to the tree...his expression is priceless.

Beautiful.
Hanging the first ornament...Cinderella, of course.

Showing me the 'breakable' ornaments..."BE CAREFUL, MAMA! They're breakable!!"
Hanging the last ornament, with Daddy's help.

Cash-y and I were there too :)

And of course, we have her tree up in her room...complete with cupcake ornaments, pom-pom garland she helped me make last year, and pink, pink, pink!

Dancing, Walking, Eating...

How thrilled does he look to be wearing a dora necklace as a princess crown...his bracelet, and then that purple choking hazard, I mean necklace, also became a crown. Isn't that nice of his big sister to make him beeeee-a-utiful!
Yummy...Mabs pickier version of Thanksgiving dinner.

Bossing Cash around, and him thinking its the funniest thing ever!

He's walking...and oh so excited about it (as are we!)!!!

Dancing down the hall...

Still dancing...
Pooped.

Gobble Gobble...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
A day late...but we are thankful everyday for each other, our wonderful family and friends, and especially our sweet, smart, beautiful, healthy happy babies. We could never express our gratitude for everything and everyone that we have in our lives!

Our two happy babies...

And our Thanksgiving craft that we sent to our family....
Cash's craft.
Mabelle's turkey.

All of them.

Random :)

Just some pics from this week...to catchup!

Have a sweet friend in ballet class whose Mom makes bows, and wanted Mabs to model for her. How cheesey and ADORABLE is she here?!
Can you see how ornery he is...he was attacking her (and she was loving it)!

Uh oh...Im an awful Mama, Cash LOVES to watch tv sometimes. Mainly Moose and Zee on Noggin (the Noggin 'commercials').

And this is what happens with Mabelle's little dolls' dresses. And he comes away with glitter mouth and face.

Spring Preserve

Took a trip to the Spring Preserve this week with our friends, Pat and James, and had such a nice, sweet time! Pictures to prove the fun and cuteness ;)

Preoccupied with any and everything when I asked her to smile....here a rock.

See...see the rock?? Hee hee

Getting ready to run...being ornery together.
Part of the play area for kids...choooo chooooo!

Can SOMEONE look at the camera?? Anyone??

How cute is this little turtle?!

Any my other cutie turtle...

"Mabelle, can you sit with Cash for a picture?"....this was my answer...climbing instead.

Always on the go. And how stinking cute are they?????????

Happy 10month Birthday, Cash!

Today, our baby is 10months old! He still holds on to his title of being the best baby ever, still pretty laid back. He has one tooth, while another creates havoc on his poor gums, tummy, and tooshy. Cash can say mama, dada, bath (ba-ba while standing at the bathtub), night night (ni nii while he's crying and rubbing his eyes at bedtime), no no no, and I swear he says, all done (when he's done eating...I always give him the choice of "more" or "all done"). He's quite the Mama's boy, he follows me around the house, cries for me if I leave him, and gives me tons of sugar! Hee hee!

Cash is now starting to take steps, also (Mabelle walked at 8 months, right before she hit 9 months)! I don't say walk, because he takes 2-3 steps at a time and falls. He is now trying everytime he's standing to walk or keep his balance for a long time. So as soon as I jailbreak my iphone, be prepared for some videos of that! Mabelle gets soo excited when he attempts it, she yells for us to look and tries to get him to come to her...she loves him so much, such a proud sister.

And our little chunk has learned to finally chew and swallow real food! So he has discovered goldfish (loved them), corn (loved it), mac/cheese (loved it), and cheese puffs (really loves them) this week. But still eats his yummy jar food, and nurses. Ok...just thought we needed a big update on our big boy...enjoy the few pics (mucho updates tomorrow, but today is Cash's day).

"I aint afraid of no stinking, giant snake, mama!"
Sneaky boy playing with magnets, see that smile he flashes when caught doing something he's not supposed to?? I am in BIG trouble when it comes to that cutie and his shenanigans!
He styled his own hair with his yummy food...I think Bozo was a major influence in his choice, notice the sides sticking straight out?!

Fun times.

The days and weeks fly by here...seriously fly by, I don't know if it's having two active kids, or just Vegas, but whatever it is...it makes the days super short. Before we know it it's dark (at 430pm), and we are trying to figure out something to keep us busy..but here's some of our fun this week!

Mama and Mabelle outside blowing bubbles...but teasing Cash (and Ruby in the other door) that he's inside. Nice, huh?
That's talent...blowing bubbles.

Just really loved this pic. She is just gorgeous.

"It's an ornament, Mom!!" Playdoh while Cash monster naps (cause he puts EVERYTHING in his mouth....everything).

Cutting the playdoh.

This just makes me laugh, she looks like a doll (maybe a scary doll, maybe a beautiful doll...either way...funny).

Chuck E. Cheese playdate...a girl after her Mom and Dad's heart: She hearts skee ball! And since she's small, she's allowed to walk on the track.
Cash trying to help, she would have none of that!

Even not looking, he's so darn beautiful...those eyelashes, cheeks...chunks.

Standing tall!

Cash's new trick...standing alone. This is the only pic I was able to snap of him doing it, cause usually he sees me with the camera and tries to attack me instead of standing still.
The little guy looooooooooooooves Mabelle's chair.

He sits in it, stands on it, and his favorite, crawls up it.

"Mom, I'm 3!!!!!!!!"

"Look what I can do, Mom! Rock on!"

"MOM, Cash ate dirt!!!"

This morning, Mabelle informs me she wants to play kitchen, and I tell her to help me put her playdoh away first. So I leave her and Cash in the downstairs playroom (formerly the dining room), and go to the living room to start putting it away. As soon as I put a few tubs in the container, I hear..."MOM, Cash ate dirt!!!!". I figure it's dog hair or dirt...I round the corner and see this yellow/brown drool coming from his mouth running down his chin. I get to him and smell the 'dirt'. IT'S DOG POOP!!!!!!!! So I frantically try to dig the tiny turd out of his mouth and off his face. I get the wipes and wipe his hands and face completely down..including a swab in his mouth. Just then, Jason walks downstairs to Mabelle laughing and yelling, "DAD, Cash ate poop!" All while Cash has this HUGE smile on his face, oblivious to the fact that he just ate a turd.

The tiny turd seemed to have fallen off of his BFF's butt!! Grrrrooosssssssssss!

Sorry there are no pics of this event...I was busy cleaning turdface.

edited to clarify...the said turd was no bigger than half of my pinky nail. Tiny. But still a turd.

A Second Chance...

We have had some behavioral issues with our middle child-dog, Sunny (just with the other 2 dogs, NOT with the kids), and had almost decided to get rid of her this week...but our kids have given her her ONLY second chance. We have decided to try keeping her on her Prozac every day and see if that helps. Anyways...this is THE only reason she is getting her second chance (which is really her 322nd chance).

The love in his face is so apparent!

And Sunny is just a big teddy bear with the kids...loves them to pieces!

Happy love.

Laying his head on her.

Going in for the hug.
Another day..crawling into Sunny's bed.
He would lay with her all day if I let him.
And Mabelle soon followed..
What you don't see is Jason less than a foot away from the kids and Sunny...it's hard to completely trust her. But we honestly believe she would NEVER intentionally hurt the kids. It's her problems with the other dogs that make us nervous. She LOVES our babies more than she loves us.
