Bologna for the Ducks

Went to the park with our friends, Pat and James (we hadn't got to hang with them in over a month!!!), we had sooo much fun!! Mabelle was so excited to feed the ducks...bologna. So I made sure to bring bologna AND bread for the ducks. LOL, she's so funny and considerate. I have major pictures from today...because all the kids had so much fun, it was such a beautiful day (70s), and hello....3 cute kids=tons of pics :)

Cash's first freedom at the park...he was in HOG HEAVEN!
Cuteness on a slide.
Static cuteness.
Align Center

His slide experience has been limited to his little one at home...so he kept wanting to climb up the slide instead of the stairs. Ornery!!

Loves swings...

Click on this pic...see that HUGE smile on her face. Pat makes her laugh so much!
Future gymnast...one more reason we are starting gymnastics in April.
Mabs told James to hold her hand...bossy and aren't they sweet?!?!

Feeding the ducks.
Mabelle tells me all about how she loves trees and how she loves to hug them...she got James hugging them too!

Cash on the loose, and both kids were right on top of him. So funny!

So darn cute.

James was on the hand-holding mission this time ;)

Happy 13 Months, Cashy!!!

Yesterday was Cash's 13 month birthday. Cannot believe my baby is a toddler. So these days it's all about Dada, or Daddeeeee. I only get attention if he's mad, hungry or crying. He's always demanding Daddy, and when he leaves, Cash follows him to the door and watches him drive away. But when he gets home, Cash drops whatever he's doing and rushes to the door. I think it's the sweetest thing, makes me so happy that they have that sweet bond. Cash still not saying much but is opinionated...thru grunts, head shakes, cries, smiles, sugars, and laughs. He is in a tumbling class called Rollie Pollies and LOVES it. He does all the songs, tumbling and loves to play with all the other kids.

Playing in his sister's booster (she moves it to the floor to reach her candy...smarty).
His teeth that were broke thru when little bruiser took a nose dive into the floor...his mouth is completely healed and his teeth look huge, because his gums were pushed up.

Funny faces...he loves making funny faces...ignore the silly teething rash.

Bottom teeth too :)

And we've gotten the sweetest little packages from Papa Joe & Grandma Teresa, the latest one with some felt coloring pages. She LOVES getting mail! Here's my pale little Snow White coloring :)

Our sweet Sunny.

It's been a month since we said good-bye to our sweet puppy Sunny. We had to put her down because of some aggression problems that were progressively getting worse, but we don't want to remember or think about those problems...only how wonderful a puppy she was. I say puppy, because even though she was almost 9yrs old, she never outgrew her puppy stage. Jason named her after having her for a few days (he wanted the PERFECT name for her), and discovered the best name after he realized that she was up every morning with the sunshine. And as anyone knows who stayed with us, she was ALWAYS up at the break of dawn, if not before. She was the sweetest puppy, always ready for any attention especially by laying her head on your lap, eager for that one pat of love. Sunny was the one dog I trusted around the kids, or to protect us..she was the Mama dog and loved us more than anything, and we loved her. She was the babies favorite, probably because she let them climb on her, love her, share her bed, play with her food, and follow her around...all in exchange for that precious attention she appreciated. Sunny was eternally playful, and loved tennis balls (she'd tear them up and eat them) & even enjoyed popping basketballs (lol). She was plagued by always have some injury...whether it was a herniated belly button, torn deu-claw, clogged anal gland, or a busted ear...she was happy to be babied (with her cuddle time on the couch) and enjoyed the ride to the vet (always looking on the bright side ;). Here's just a few pics of our sweet four-legged baby who is our angel watching over us now, Sweet Sunny

Not much happening here...

...but puzzles, dancing, coloring, errands, and eating. This week has flown by, probably because I was sick (again..blah), the kids were finally able to start back on their classes, and I had a TON of things to get done now that we were able to leave the house. But we are all now feeling MUCHO better (have a few days of breathing treatments left), and even Cash's mouth has healed, leaving two very large front teeth exposed (don't worry pics of that will come in the next few days). But here's just a few pics of our week :)

Funny, how much he loves this little dancing guy!

Giving him a hi-5!

And of course, some sugar.

Sticking her head thru a ball toss hole...lol!
Listening to her own mp3 player that Nana got for her.
So proud she has her own.

Pee Pee in the Pot-tay!

We've been sitting Cash on the potty before bathtime for a few days to introduce the potty, so we can start potty training him early (about the same time Mabs did, around 21 months). And he loves sitting on it, he laughs, squeals, and kicks his feet. Mabelle and I sit with him, and show him how to push (so he can mimic us, and MAYBE have some success), we tell him how great he's doing, and we cheer for him for just simply sitting there (all while the water in the bath is running). Last night, we are doing the same thing, and I look away and quickly turn back when I feel a warm liquid splash my hand....CASH PEED IN THE POTTY!!!! He instantlyl started clapping, even before we all freaked out (even Jason was excited). We were all so proud of him for actually peeing and then knowing he did something great! (we are sure this will not happen every time, but just getting the idea of what we use a potty for is exciting)

He's always fiddeling with things down there...but this is last night...recreated tonight ;)
And both kids getting excited about the potty!

...and yes our bathroom is carpeted...weird and yuck.

Our sweetest Valentines!

We had a sweet Valentines Day, Daddy had to work all day, so we did our special treats in the morning. The kids woke up and we all made our way downstairs to where the gifts were...and they loved all their little gifts. Hope your day was as sweet as ours!!
Mabelle worried about Cash's gifts...she is always worried about everything else. SO silly!
You can kinda see Mabelle's loot in her chair...puzzle, Barbie, EVE doll, candy and candy :)
Cash's loot on his little chair...sippy cups, books, baby recorder, candy and candy.

Reading about his Nerds. One smart cookie ;)

Checking out her converstation hearts.

Instead of looking at gifts, he wants to ride on his firetruck.
One of his gifts, he loves books. And this one fits him perfectly...a dancing Pookie :)

Yes, Dad???

Screaming cause he wanted his new sippy cups...NOW!

Reading her Princess valentines card...she loves a musical card!

And then there was blood.

Cash was playing on Mabelle's little pink chair, the chair fell over backwards..sending him face first into the carpet. with his pacifier in his mouth. I rushed to him, thinking he had a rug burn on his face...nope, a mouth full of blood greeted me instead. I began making him bit wet paper towels, sent Mabelle upstairs to get Daddy, and then Daddy arrives. We got him a cold washcloth and kept making him bite it, after a little while we were able to tell that he busted his gums on his top two front teeth (which were NOT broken thru yet) with his pacifier. And after some tylenol, cuddles, and a few more bites on that washcloth, he was climbing that pink chair trying to go for round 2. Boys. We think his mouth is fine, and I'm making a dentist appointment after his illnesses are gone to make sure his teeth will still come in ok (in fact, his mouth is good enough to just finish his lunch of cheese puffs and bologna). So in true Tracy fashion, I took pictures of the aftermath in his mouth...

IF YOU'RE GROSSED OUT EASILY, DON'T LOOK!!!
Because honestly, it kind of grossed me out, but I'm a mom who documents everything, including my boy's first bloody accident.
The blood on his shirt...tough guy.
The worst pic...that's the skin hanging down, that we are sure caused all the blood.

Another pic of his owie...the white hangy skin has moved.

And the last pic of the purple soreness.

What will happen next at the Tritten house??? Stay tuned...LOL!
