16 months yesterday for Cashy!

The picture says it all...he drinks capri sun, he's no longer a bitty baby. His loves and activities in a big nutshell...loves bracelets, putting on shoes, drinking capri suns (lol), loves sweets (tries to steal Mabs's lollipops...eek), babbles still with some coherent words, not actively potty training (but can still baffle you with his potty abilities), still rear-faces in his carseat, still nurses, still wakes too many times in the night, LOVES his sister more than anything, lights up when he sees his daddy, and is the sweetest little cuddler!!

Happy 16 months, beautiful boy!

My Birthday :)

Yesterday was my birthday...29, yikes! And I had such a wonderful day, and realized how spoiled I am!! Jason and the kids let me sleep in til 8, made me muffins and got me a bunch of presents! I wasn't expecting the presents since I got to go to Dane Cook on Sunday night (hilarious), and got a super cool painting by Joe Capobianco (beyond surprised!! here's the linkhttps://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyXDfIA1oqt78RKzouWoFR6U4Cek7dSGzc9rIgRQetS9deLHRkofKYYTGcr7BPAQGqFSFTIhd4bm4Qk7dtv0gYmucYNbZvSB0822bl-6xQt1bUh2KJKEo20JzMCUWXrq-B7U4FWY4pe6-R/s1600-h/cupcake.jpg ---she's risque and I'm thinking of doing my entire kitchen around her!! LOL!). So the presents....after Mabelle opened them, I realized how sweet my Jason is....amazingly sweet. Then I had a relaxing day with the babies and dinner with Jason and our friends, Jime Pat & James. Pat even contacted Lizzie for my favorite cake recipe (another surprise) and I enjoyed Banana Split Cake too! Such a wonderful day! Thanks everyone for my gifts, calls and birthday wishes!!!

I got the CD/DVD for the concert I went to...awesome.
I'm going to be a strong, fit chick with my new Wii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Games for it..

I had my babies wear their bday shirts for me! Mabelle loved it!

And posed for me...Cash loves her sooooo much!
(excuse the weird justifications on the following pics, uploaded weird and too lazy to re-upload).

He then decided it was time to give M some looooove, sweet!

Making cupcakes with me...of course.

Loves that batter :)

hi dada

And after a wonderful day...me and my sweet babies!

Visit to Chicago!

Me and the kids took a trip to Chicago to see some of our best friends...Jenifer, Jerry, Nic, Tailia, Christian and Frankie (whew...that was alot of names...lol)! We had a blast...besides the crazy flights (flight out there...think 2 hours on an un-airconditioned plane, then a 3.5 hour flight....and on the way home a screaming sleepy Cash the WHOLE flight), but it was worth it. The kids are so great together (they are like siblings...and the girls definitely bicker like sisters, so cute!). Frankie was absolutely adorable and Cash was so gentle with her (without much guidance), must mean he needs a little brother or sister too...HAHAHAHA! We didn't do a ton outside of the house, except for the zoo trip, but we had so much fun just hanging out---sometimes that's the BEST times :)

We can't wait to see them again!! Enjoy the pics (sorry for the slideshow, Heather, but I narrowed it down to 40ish pics and had to share all of those!! LOL!)!! Grrrr on the slideshow cutting the left sides of my pics off...click on it and you can see the pics by themselves.

Small notes to add: Cash's updo mohawk courtesy of Jen and Jerry...its sooo cute, the boys were constantly stealing each other's pacifiers and drinks, Mabs loved Nic (cause he loves Spiderman too), Frankie was such a good baby, Christian is soooo content with books (never seen a baby LOVE books soooo much)...oh my goodness, there's too much to even try to share/explain!! Just enjoy!

Case of the Missing piece of Soap...

Tonight, while I was holding the shower head over our glass shower to spray into the bathtub (to make BIG bubbles...duuuuuh!), the kids were running & playing in and out of the shower (since they don't go in there ever). Me being 5feet tall, I was on my tip toes struggling to get the shower head aimed at the big tub and getting those bubbles large, I was unable to see my kids. All of sudden, Mabs yells "Cash has the soap!". By the time I get the water turned off (so I don't spray all 3 of us standing in the shower, fully clothed), and turn around to see if my body wash was in Cash's cluthes....Mabelle hands me this:

a very used/almost gone, bar of soap
Cash did a few "crrrr"s, head shakes and a few mouth-sweeps later....the missing piece of soap is still missing. I have a hunch that the piece of soap is somewhere that rhymes with "Dash's Gummy"....

A day at the Splash Park with friends!

Title says it all, we had a blast this morning with our playdate friends (it had been awhile since we got to hang out with some of them). And let me tell you, I'm surprised I got any pics...chasing two kids and trying to take pics is a little difficult. I missed pics of alot of the playing and all of their friends :(

Cash ran out to the splash area, fully clothed...niiiiiiiiiice.
He loved it, still fully clothed.

Nabbed him and got him in his swimwear...Mabs joined in and with James, off they went to play.

Splashing the water with his hands.

Happy :)
Had something on his foot...that little rock right in front of him. lol
Wet.

James and Mabelle...he was so funny, shielding Mabs from a little boy trying to hold her hand and follow her (and another one of their friends) around. James was the little protector...sooo cute!
Pat brought cupcakes....YUMMY!Cash loves Pat...and cupcakes!

My Mother's Day :)

I had a great mother's day, spent it with a few of my favorite people...Mabelle and Cash. Daddy had to work during the day, so we spent time with him in the morning and that night. They got me the sweetest gifts, and all day Mabelle told me "Happy Mudder's Day, Mama. I love you." It' doesn't get any better than that :)

No one could wait for me to get pretty...so gift opening happend right after I woke up (from sleeping in to 745...Mabelle did tell me what she had got me a few days before but was very vague about it. So I was still surprised...yay!)

I cried...the card had Mabelle's little voice recorded in it. It was the sweetest sound!

Cash...with me in the background admiring my new hat (it covers my greasy head when I don't shower, or when I do and don't wanna do my hair) and books.

Just a funny pic.

The new hat and my flowers.

I also get to do the backyard however I want, so I got an xtra large red pot and some plants to put in one drab corner of the patio. Mabelle picked out a hibiscus for it too :)

Can you tell she didn't like having the potting soil on her hands?

Awful pic of me...but it's my new patio set! (ignore the dog poo in the background...yucko)

Hope every other mother had a day as sweet as mine!

Another...is this normal??

Thanks for all the replies to my crazy flexible daughter...I will call Cirque tomorrow and get her working asap! HAHAHAHA! Or maybe just get her some teacups to work on her chinese acrobats routines...

And in response to a few comments and question in our comment section...I counted her swimsuits, and drumroll please.....she has 11 swimsuits!!! ACK! In my defense, she has a lot from last year and we have a pool, that totally excuses her drawer full of swimsuits, right??

How cute are we?! LOL!
She really is loving to pose for her swimsuit pic...it's become a routine now!

Her serious face...this suit is way toooo big, who makes bottoms THAT big?? (but I had on a lime green polka dotted bikini too...I didn't even know we had same swimsuits!!!)

Is this normal???

Cmon...need all my mamas out there to let me know...is it normal for a 3 year old to be this flexible? We knew she was double-jointed and only thought of the flexibility when her gymnastics teacher made a comment about her after a failed backflip attempt (it looked like she should've hurt her neck, but didn't whatsoever).

Holding her legs straight up.
Flipping her legs all the way over her head...she's on her tummy this whole picture series!

She can kind of hold this position.

Part of her double-jointedness...her thumb is crazy double jointed!

Cash from the iphone

Pics of my baby from this week...

Loungin, he watched tv like this for 15mnts!!
Eating ketchup...sour face.

Shaking his hands from the sourness.

And still enjoying just ketchup.

Mabs from the iphone...

Update from my phone....all Mabelle :)
Ready to swim.
Swimming.

New OP swimsuit...in a size 4, a little too big!

Beautiful Mabelle with her Nana big hair and lipstick!

After she went under the water...cause of our biggest fear: thought she still had her floaties on and just swam into the deep end. ACK! She was a-ok though.

Cash's first carosel ride! (well 2nd, but first on a horse)

A week ago, I went to the outlet mall with just the kids...and realized Cash was old enough to sit on the carosel and maybe enjoy it! So instead of promising Mabelle that 'next time we could go on the carosel', I bought two tickets and saddled up. Of course I wanted to document the special moment...and all I had was my phone...here's what I got:

Holding on..with his chi-chi, he really liked the ride!
Mabelle was getting over crying (since she had snapped her finger in the buckle)...and starting to enjoy her carosel ride.

Mohawk on the carosel :)
Maybe next time Dad will be with us and we'll get some GOOD pics :)
