Day Two: Dropped Mabelle off at school and Cash was still running a fever. We assumed it was teeth. He didn't eat much that day, but still was enticed by feeding yogurt to himself , while his gummies & pringles were still a good go-to. Crashed on Daddy with his teether. Day Three...the food strike begins. We are giving him tyelnol and still assuming teeth, although we are starting to question ourselves. He's pulling on his teeth, not eating, has his fever and wants to just lay and watch Max&Ruby. The nonstop screaming starts this night...high-pitched for two hours straight. And his fever peaks at 102.7 (that we saw).
Day Four, screaming nonstop continues. Call and get him a doctor's appointment, Doc says it's one of three viruses, and we'll know when it has run its course which one it is. Treat with lots of fluids, tyelnol for discomfort and rest. Later that day I captured his screaming...sad.
Day Five continued...he does finally chow down on some ice cream.
Day Five, Daddy gets to experience the screaming! His fever subsides a little, it's in the 99 range now. But some redness starts to appear....above his eyebrow. He's still super cranky and not eating.

Day Five still...and again, crashes on the couch. Jason said he crawled up there on his own, laid down and fell asleep while me and Mabelle were running errands.
Day Six (today)...no fever!! YAHOOOOO! But looky looky what has made an ugly appearance...Roseola. Looks almost like measels, but we are certain this is what it is. The rash itself doesn't bother him and the fever is gone, he's still teething and cranky. But the rash is a sign that the virus is almost gone!

OMG!! Poor sweet baby! Made me so sad to see :(. I hope this is the end of it....poor little guy!
Roseola SUCKS!!!! Aaron had it at 12 mos. and it was the same thing. The screaming, fever and rash. My doc said mildly contagious for the first couple of days. Aaron's went away quickly, sorry your experience has been a long one. Poor Cash!
Poor little man:( hope he is feeling much better today! Give hima big fat kiss from weezer and some slobbery sugar from Matylda:)

Thses are so sad! I seriously almost cried when I saw those of him crying. (I am much more of a baby these days but still!) Hope it's over soon! Give him lots of hugs and kisses from me.
poor little man! His rash is one of the worst I have ever seen! My kids had it as bad on their bodies, but not as bad on their heads. Thank goodness the rash doesn't itch or anything, can you imagine how horrible that would be?? Hope it starts to clear up soon. : )
POOR CASHY!!! I'M GLAD IS ALMOST OVER! HANG IN THERE! LOVE YOU GUYS! XOXO
