Elmo Live

Our first Broadyway production....well in Kearney...but it was pretty fantastic! Elmo Grows Up came to our little arena, and us brave parents took the girls (Mabelle and her BFF, Charlie). They loved it...but were not as attentive after the intermission. It was a blast, and they had the best time....well worth the money!!

A new thing...

She's getting sooo smart, and is still talking soo much....too much, she repeats EVERYTHING!! Her newest things she's saying is "Who's that?", "I see it", "Hold YOU", "Whoa, crazy" and some of her newest favorite words include motorcycle and bicycle. She is recognizing letters and sounds now, the ones she knows for sure are A, B, G, Q, & Z. She also recognizes her name, I think......at least she can pick it off a page full of words!!

She learns so much, and seems like she is becoming more of a little person everyday.

So Mabelle's experienced some new things this week....a new pool (thanks, NASA Tracy!!), a new movie (gotta love a monster who can hold a toddler's attention), a new hat (who knew a strainer could be so fashionable?!), and a new love for jumping on the bed!

A Sunday afternoon cuddle with Daddy....

Jumping, hiding, rolling, wallering, laughing, falling, twirling, spinning....all the things Mabelle LOVES to do on the bed!! Here she was hiding under a pillow sham....

Fits perfectly!

A nice new dress from Aunt Weezer....hard work opening the package....time for a snack!!

Her new whale pool complete with a slide and built-in sprinkler.

Such a big girl going down the slide by herself....by the end of the day, Daddy had her going down head first...SCARY!

She was not liking that sprinkler, not sure if it was the cold water, or getting her hair wet.

Ladybugs beware....Mabs wants to hold you, squish you, and love on you....good thing, we have an infestation of them in the backyard!

Mabelle actually sitting down and watching her Elmo movie....we've never watched Elmo before, she just loves to color him, and cuddle him! That lasted a whole 20 minutes...I was able to start dinner...woohoo!! She actually cried when she thought Elmo was falling and getting hurt...soo compassionate.
