Congratulations Papa Joe!!

CONGRATULATIONS, Papa Joe!! He won State Employee of the Month, beating out over 30,000 state employees!! He must be doing something right ;) Here he is with the Governor (Matt Blunt),the Governor's wife, & Grandma Teresa; and then with his supervisor, receiving another award for Employee of the Month. Go Papa Joe!

HAPPY 3 MONTHS, CASH!

Happy 3 months, big man! Cash is still rolling (tummy to back), starting to reach for toys, and cooing. He has learned to scream when he wants something, but still far more laid back than Miss Mabelle was. I just weighed him myself, and he's an even 15lbs. Such a big boy, I compare holding him to holding a bowling ball--since he's more dead weight and not supporting himself entirely yet. He's wearing 3-6mos clothes, and more 6-9 or 6-12mos clothing...such a BIG diff from Mabelle (who still has some clothes that could fit Cash!!). Time does fly...

p.s. This was Mabelle's onesie that she wore for-ever. Fits him perfectly :)

My brothers Wedding..yup, you heard correct!!

We got back from Vegas Sunday, Jason got back Wednesday...and Thursday morning, we were up and driving to Dallas to see my brother get married. Crazy, never thought I'd be saying that...whoa! But we had a great visit...got to see my mom, stepdad, and brother. The kids were great, and everyone was so happy to see us. The wedding was beautiful, I was a bridesmaid, and Mabs was a flower girl. I didn't get any pics of my cuteness, but did get everyone else...figures! hahahaha! But she did great and performed her duties perfectly!

Note to self...Mabelle does not like these rides....AT ALL!

A Spaz like Mama!

Ok, so I've come to realize my baby girl is a spaz just like me. Anal, OCD, and bouncing off the walls! She has to do things the same way every time, like eating her ice cream (she gets it out of the freezer, shuts the door, gets the spoon out of the drawer, shuts the drawer, takes it to the couch, and then has the person of her choice open it), if you mess up the system, you WILL hear a 2-year old tantrum. Going to the potty, playing games, going to the store, getting in the car, eating, getting dressed...all requires the SAME exact routine as before, any deviation will result in immediate screaming.

She has also realized that loving Cash gets her good attention, and I'm not complaining...I'd rather her love him than act out towards him. BUT she has to lay ON him when she cuddles, yell in his ears that she loves him, or put her head on his head to see him. Thank goodness he's laid back, cause she lays the love on very, very thick!

That being said...she's still the sweetest :)

To Vegas & Back...

So we've had a busy few months...here's this trip: VEGAS! It was a great trip, we have officially decided we are moving there and found a house to rent while we were out there. Liz & David flew out as well to help, and were a HUGE help. Jason went out Wed-Wed, to work and make sure he liked the shop...I flew out Thurs-Sun with the kids by myself (whoa...nightmare, let's just say...topped with a poop blowout on my lap & in my hair on the plane, is one of the lovely perks to traveling with 2 babies alone). We had a good time, once we finally found a house on our last morning in Vegas, thanks to our friend having a friend who's in hard times. Anyways, woohoo...Vegas.

Quick Updates..

So this week has been stressful & eventful, hopefully we'll have some great news soon, after our big trips later this week! Anyhoo, thought I'd update with some pics of the kids....well Mabelle, not many pics of Cash this week (he was staying out of the paparazi's way-in hiding like Britney). hahahaha!
