The first (of, oh so many) pictures of the Peanut!

So we had our first doctor's appointment today, and I just love my OB more and more everytime I see her--she's soooo great! Everything looks great, I'm 9 weeks pregnant today, so my calculations were correct, and our due date is Feb. 1, 2008. The little stinker is even listening already...he/she moved for mommy when the Doc asked!!! I don't know what I'll do with a child that listens...hahahahahaha! Here's the first image of our sweet, little peanut:





Thanks goodness there's only one baby in there...I had a dream that I was having triplets!! Four under the age of 3 is the scariest thing!!

Shoes & Scabs....oooohhhhhhh

Yup, it's the polky-dotted shoes again..she LOVES those!! But look how grown she looks, wearing her heels, pushing her stroller.

I guess everyone will know when Mama gets new shoes...Mabelle has to try them on to make sure they look good!!

OWIE!! "What happen?" "Olivia's" That's Mabelle's conversation she will have with herself concerning her big ol' scabby owie. She learned, the hard way, not to run on concrete driveways--even Olivia, Race, Jerry, and Angela's driveway. Poor baby!

Swimmming again!!

More pictures of Mabelle swimming....a different day, a different swimsuit :) A girl has to have a different suit for each day of the week, right Mimi???

Take notice of her lying on her belly kicking...thank you swim classes, for teaching Mabelle how to swim (well, kick and sing songs).

New Bedding!!

I finally had Mabelle's bedding made...YAY! Look how adorable it turned out, the company I work for did an amazing job...and even threw in an extra throw pillow and bear that matches! And she loves her new bedding and especially her new toddler pillow...it's just her size!!!

As soon as I put it in her crib, she wasnted to go "night, night", even had to have her chi chi (pacifier) to complete the deal. She threw a fit when we had to get out to go eat. Oh, the drama!

The first pic is of Mabelle, her BFF, Charlee, and Charlee's cousin, Kenzie. The little girls were being silly and sitting in the carseats for sale at Time for Baby...silly gurls!

Happy Father's Day!

I think Jason had a Happy Father's Day...it looks like Mabelle did :)

She enjoyed putting around with her new golf clubs...thanks Papa!! And "helping" Daddy open his gift..which was a book of pictures of the two of them.

She also enjoyed walking around in Mama's shoes, and old purse....she's such a big girl!!

More Swimming...

Another day of swimming (well, splashing, sliding, and shaking her booty in the pool...that counts as swimming, right?), being ornery (having to have the bubble bottle with her at all times), looking for ladybugs (we found a cool stick instead), and being just soooo darn cute!

It's a penguin....it's a fish...it's....

MABELLE!! So our child LOVES to swim, and play in the water. If she could do this all day every day, I think she would. We are still doing swim class, and since it's the summer it's twice a week...and swimming in our own pool every nice day that we can. She just thinks it the coolest thing....just wait 'til she gets to her grandparents pool, and sees their HUGE slide. Oh goodness, we definitely need to get a life vest for our little waterbaby!!

Does that first pic look like an underweight child...just look at that little buddah belly!! TOO CUTE! She loves to also straddle the side of the pool, and bounce....like a horse, she tells me. Also, everytime she'd splash into the water and get her hair wet, she'd say "blowdry". She had to "washy hands" everytime she got grass on them too...in the side of the pool. Jason probably thinks I'm making her a priss....I've never blowdried her hair, I think she's just sooo smart and sees me doing it to my wet hair. Oh well....a smart priss, I guess that's our Mabelle!!

Another day outside

Just another day playing outside, and drawing pretty pictures for Daddy. She is working sooo hard on writing an "A", I think she thinks she's going to do it soon...she tries so hard. And I just wanted to show off her cute little leggings...hee..hee... I heard somewhere that only kids and pregnant ladies should wear those, looks like Mabs and I will probably have some matching leggings soon!!

Garage Sales aren't that bad...

So on the hunt for a plastic outdoor climber at area garage sales...I stumbled across 2 great deals I couldn't pass up. One, a cozy coupe car missing the steering wheel, for the low, low price of $1!!! Granted, it's a tad ghetto...missing the steering wheel and some decal stickers...but for a buck...she doesn't care about that stuff! And two, a like new Little Tikes slide, for the super low price of $2!!! For a total that comes up less than my smoothies cost at Barista's or one gallon of gas!!!! It turns out this was the best $3 I've ever spent....see for yourself! She got in the car, closed the door, turned to Daddy and me, waved, and said "bye-bye"....gosh so smart...

Mabelle's New Love

Well, Mabelle has decided that she LOVES to watch 2 movies....over and over and over again. One is Elmo in Grouchland, and the other is Happy Feet...she just loves those singing and dancing penguins!! So much so, we had to get her Mumble while at Walmart one day (darn those displays right in the middle of the aisles!!). Mumble is her new love, she sleeps with him, and wants to take him everywhere we go...he is as big as she is, so he doesn't escort us everywhere, but does go "night-night" with her.
