Baby Shower for Peanut!!

Our good friends threw us a FABULOUS baby shower for little Peanut last night, and here's some pictures of the extravagaaaaanza!! It was great, we had great friends there, good food, fun games, and lots of generous gifts!! Thank you to all that were there, and weren't there (but so wish you could be there too!). We love you!!

I was the only one with a camera, and it konked out after taking a bunch of blurry pics...BOO CAMERA! So many of these are blurry, but at least I have some, right??

The Super Awesome Diaper Cake....did I say SUPER AWESOME??? It had a binky blanket, babylegs, burp cloths (including sock monkey ones!), Robeez shoes, and lots of extras...it was so cool!

29 Weeks

I'm 29 weeks today...yeehaw!!! Still feeling good, getting all those lightning bolts to fun places...you know, sharp shooting pains...fun! Still in regular jeans. As of last appt, 10 days ago, I had gained 19lbs....which I'm not sure if that's more or less than with Mabs. But I'll have to dig that stuff out and check. Carrying differently, although I think he's dropped out of my ribs--except for the occasional foot :) And my belly button is soooo supersized. Ok...enjoy pics of me and my belly!

Not looking my best in the current pic, because my shower is today!!!!!! YAY! And I haven't done my make-up or hair...please forgive me, just want to look purty and fresh for my shower later :) I'll have to post some of those pics this weekend.

It's been awhile...

So sorry...can't believe it's been a little while since I posted! Mabelle's new tricks include counting to 20, singing all the songs she knows (including non-nursery rhyme songs, like Johnny Cash and Ricky Skaggs), and just being so darn funny! She's also likes to tell people when we're out and about, if they say "Hi", she replies with "I'm being shy....". Does that really sound shy to you???

She really loved this movie...danced everytime they sang and laughed at them falling down. Although she says "I don't like the green witch..she's silly!"

27 weeks

Mr. Peanut has been in the womb for 27 whole weeks now. He's an ornery one, just like his big sister was...kicking me, wallering, pinching me from the inside....all the joys of being pregnant! I'm enjoying everything still, but just uncomfortable at night. Mabelle's so "exciting" for the baby, she even asked me last night to open my belly so she could give the baby some sugar. I hope she still feels that way in a few months....

And I'm way cuter this time around with a toddler....don't know how that worked out. I definitely look (how did Heather put it) "fresher" this time around. But all of Mabelle's prego pics were taken after the gym or at night...and I was working then...not as hard as I work nowadays....hmmmm.....

Pumpkin Masters...

Pumpkin carving at its finest..notice there's no pictures of the finished pumpkins ;) Mabelle loved helping carve the pumpkins and clean them out. She called all the pumpkin goop inside....pumpkin goo-goo, and would help by taking it out and flinging the spoon to get it off. Which would get pumpkin goo-goo everywhere!

Just another week for Little Miss M...

Mabelle had visitors last week. Her Papa Joe & Grandma Teresa came to visit..and she loved all the attention. She learned about grasshoppers, and her favorite thing was bonking her ball on everyone's head--especially Papa Joe.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

She actually wore it!!!!! Only after she discovered this little thing called "candy"...whoa is that a great bribery tool!! I guess after keeping it a secret for 2 years, we've done ok...and it's only ONE day, right? She loved her cupcake costume, she got soo much attention in it and everyone who saw it loved it. ENJOY THE CUPCAKE...it's vanilla with pink frosting, and sprinkles with a cherry on top. (She picked out everything, and I made it...she even picked out her pink sparkly shoes.) The cherry didn't last the whole night, it was a little heavy and fell off her head, so we did a red bow too :) Oh, and we had a bucket of sprinkles as her candy bucket :)
