Peanut at 20 weeks 5 days :)

We had our doctor's appointment yesterday, and we are having........a healthy baby!! The little one didn't cooperate with revealing a gender, although the doc saw something that made her think 60-70% one way. But we're still keeping it in our minds that we don't know. Our doc is going to give us another ultrasound next month, just to see if we can tell then...for free, because she's "da bomb"!! LOL!

So far, baby is growing on track, and everything looks great. I've gained 6lbs, and am still feeling great, I don't think I even have time to not feel great....Mabelle keeps us on our toes! Also the little peanut is pretty active, he/she moves around like crazy...enough for Jason to have felt it last week!!!

Peanut Update: 19 weeks

So I'm 19 weeks (as of last Friday), and I'll be 5 month preggers this week!! Eeekkk, where did the first part of this pregnancy go??? I'm feeling a lot more movement, little things here and there, but nothing where anyone can feel it yet. We go next week for the big ultrasound, so hoping for a healthy.....cooperative little peanut. And then we'll be making some calls, to let everyone know (if he/she cooperates) what we're having!! I've only gained 2 lbs, according to my scale and still in regular clothes, thank goodness. But I was in regular clothes with Mabs for most of the pregnancy too.

Again....excuse the crazy, wonk eye...and frizzy hair...and well...I'm sure I could go on and on critiquing myself! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Just a little update, with lots of pics.

Not much going on around here...still working on the potty, reading books, watching Cinderella & Happy Feet, and teething (YUCK!). So here's just a few (wink, wink) pictures of her doing what she loves.

So we're in a new "cowseat" (forward-facing), she's back to potty training after a 2 day break from diarrhea (that's why you'll see her in diapers in the pics....but she's doing great back in her big girl panties) AND she is now in a booster seat..no more highchairs. She tells me highchairs are for babies. Oh, she's definitely a big girl now. If only this big girl would poop on the potty...hahahahahaha!

We also painted her room this past weekend...an aqua color, she picked it out sorta :) But she loves it, it'll look great once we get her big girl furniture in there too. Oh my...another big girl thing....I might cry....

A Seat that says Moo!

Jason and I have had many discussions on Mabelle's carseat, and this week decided that we would get her a new one. So I went down to my friend's store and had her give me the lowdown on the best carseats. She did, and I came home excited to tell Jason about the 2 carseats I had it narrowed down to (which are ranked #1 and #2 in terms of safety...this company holds 4 out of the 5 top spots). So I told him all the great features and differences between the 2 seats...he replied with "I thought you were gonna get it today? Just get whatever you like." So I went back today and purchased the Britax Marathon in the cow-mooflauge fabric. I love it, Mabelle loves it...what else matters? Except that she is now forward-facing, which will be better when we travel in terms on convenience, but still scares the heck out of me in terms of safety. But she loves it...her first words when she got strapped in her new seat...

"I can see every-ting" as she waved her arms really big.

A Party..yup, more dancing!

We went to a wedding reception this past Saturday, and had a good time, but I think Mabs had the BEST time!! I swear she is a dancing queen. Every time the band would tune up, she would beg to "go dance".

Mabelle loves cupcakes..mmm...who doesn't??? Mabelle and Rylee (Rylee's 2 days older), enjoying a small break in their crazy running around!! I had more pics of them...but one was always a blur in them.

"It's a man singing"...she couldn't believe it was a live band. She's stomping her feet to the music. She then couldn't believe the "biiiig guitar". She's soo silly!

And then...the booty shaking began. If you've seen her shake her booty before, you know this stance very well. If not...Mabelle shakes her booty by spreading her legs far apart, then rocking side to side (makes me think of Elvis..LOL).

Well, Mabelle hit 23 months yesterday :( I can't believe she'll be 2 in a month! She's so darn smart...she has so many of her books memorized and will read them to you now. And when we were out and about, I had to convince this lady she was turning 2 not 3!! She didn't believe me at all, because of her vocab and her conversation skills. LOL!

Potty training is going really well...so well, it's scary! She's not telling me when she has to go, and the pooping on the potty is only happening if i catch her starting to go...but we've only had still 4 accidents in almost 8 days!!!!!!!! Diapers at night and during naptimes, which she is NOT happy about.
