Attack of Cash
Nothing is safe from the clutches of Cash...whether its his fingers, toes, Mabelle's hair, a toy, a blanket, paper...whatever. He grabs it and eats it! So keep your prized possesions away from him (as well as small toys, pocket change, or finger foods). Hahahaha!
The envelope from a sweet gift we received this week (thanks Jen!).
How does he sleep thru this?
Daddy works majority of nights (because he is now the night shop manager...woohoo Daddy!), so he gets up at a decent time and then naps downstairs..usually while the babies are napping. Every now and then, he is sooo tired he can't wait til they lay down. And when that happens, he still manages to get some zzzzs thru the screaming (me huffing, from no help...hahaha), crying, laughing, and playing.
Her laughing about her singing...and Jason awake now, but not mad...looking at her with adoration, while still cuddling her blankie.
And just an extra of Cash snoozing. He is the prettiest little boy.
This is Mabelle, singing as loud as her little voice can sing (which is very loud...hello, have you heard her Mama??), all while Jason cuddles HER blankie and sleeps behind her.
Big boy in a highchair!
Since a big part of Cash's life is eating...we thought we'd move him up to a highchair. He loves it, and I can actually relax while shoveling the food in his mouth.
Doesn't he look so big in this pic, his little legs sticking out.
We have dogs??!!!
Cash is now mobile, as I've talked about before. Not yet a full-on crawl, but not really containable (is that a word?). He is all over the place, and fast! Our little chunk can roll & scoot faster than you can blink! In his newfound mobility...he has discovered that we have dogs. The snoring, grunting, VERY LOUD eating, farting, barking, etc...didn't tip him off. The face-to-face interactions are how he has discovered our little furry girls.
Hi there, Daisy. I know you can't see or hear me, so I'm going to be VERY careful around you.
Oh, I like Ruby...she sticks her tongue out at me.
She's my new best friend!

Sunny has yet to be discovered, but its only a matter of time.......

Daddy's protege
So when Jason was very leetle, like 5-6months old, his Dad thought "how funny would it be to squirt whip cream in Jason's mouth". He did. And it was funny....still funny 28 years later! So Jason has been dying (well, not dying, just excited) to do it to our babies. I FINALLY said...ok. And boy does Mabelle think it's the greatest thing! She even told me today before she took her nap, "if I take a good nap, Mama, I will get some whip cream on a little cake and a little in my mouth". How sweet of them to share this joy. My sweet dorks.
Can you see the excitement & apprehension in her little face?

Best Friends Forever
We just had a GREAT visit from our good friends, Shauna & Charlee. Charlee & Mabelle did not miss a beat, they were so sweet together. They loved each other and played sooo much. We picked them up in the dead of the night (or in Vegas time..the start of the evening!), and had a blast from that moment on! Thanks so much for coming out, Charlee & Shauna!!
Matching (Target dollar bin) princesses...hahaha!
The caurosel she loves to share with her friends ;)
Our picnic in the park, after Circus Circus ending up being the weirdest casino we'd ever been in (packed like sardines in it, people sleeping in the lobby-looked like some kind of homeless shelter plus luggage, and a dirty packed adventuredome area). Pizza in the park and slides were way better.

Sliding together.
"They are like horsies, momma"
What a fun, sparkly pic.
Running in the grass...racing.

Tackling each other.
Playing in the bath together. Neither girl likes her hair wet, but thought it was hilarious when they'd pour water on each other.
Sliding together.
