Big boy in a highchair!

Since a big part of Cash's life is eating...we thought we'd move him up to a highchair. He loves it, and I can actually relax while shoveling the food in his mouth.

We have dogs??!!!

Cash is now mobile, as I've talked about before. Not yet a full-on crawl, but not really containable (is that a word?). He is all over the place, and fast! Our little chunk can roll & scoot faster than you can blink! In his newfound mobility...he has discovered that we have dogs. The snoring, grunting, VERY LOUD eating, farting, barking, etc...didn't tip him off. The face-to-face interactions are how he has discovered our little furry girls.

Daddy's protege

So when Jason was very leetle, like 5-6months old, his Dad thought "how funny would it be to squirt whip cream in Jason's mouth". He did. And it was funny....still funny 28 years later! So Jason has been dying (well, not dying, just excited) to do it to our babies. I FINALLY said...ok. And boy does Mabelle think it's the greatest thing! She even told me today before she took her nap, "if I take a good nap, Mama, I will get some whip cream on a little cake and a little in my mouth". How sweet of them to share this joy. My sweet dorks.

Best Friends Forever

We just had a GREAT visit from our good friends, Shauna & Charlee. Charlee & Mabelle did not miss a beat, they were so sweet together. They loved each other and played sooo much. We picked them up in the dead of the night (or in Vegas time..the start of the evening!), and had a blast from that moment on! Thanks so much for coming out, Charlee & Shauna!!

My Imaginary Friends!

So we had a blast with all of our friends, we got to visit with my internet friends..wait, imaginary friends. Wink, wink.

We met Heather, Ryan & Sage for the first time. I wish they could've hung out more, but we were so happy to got to visit/meet them..they are the sweetest little family! And Heather is just as gorgeous in person...as is Miss Sage (who was the sweetest little girl with the dolphins, she loved them so much)! Ryan was super nice, and all the guys were chatty cathys...it was so funny. I swear they talked more during brunch than us girls (altho we were manning all the babies). It was super hot outside, and I was super sweaty..but prob not as sweaty as Jen (who thought her hotel & the Mirage were walking distance..silly gurl). LOL!

We intruded ALOT on Jen, Jer & the kids, but had so much fun with them. The kids loved each other, I swear if we swapped girls, they kids would be in hog heaven. Mabelle was "in love" with Christian (kissing him ALOT, crawling around with him, & just being a general space invader) and Nic was soooo sweet with Mabs (he even dried her off after swimming). Tailia loves Cash (and coudn't wait to hold him), and she was my BFF one day and Jason's the next day. They insisted on being in each other's stroller, to be close to their favorite babies. She is too darn sweet. We did so much together, naps were skipped and lots of laughs were shared.

Mabs already misses her friends...as do I :( So glad we had a great time, can't wait for the next visit! Major pic overload!

Its been so hot that we've been entertaining ourselves indoors (alot), but we love each other, so it's no big deal. Cash is working hard at sitting up on his own, and can do so for a minute, before he falls back or dives forward. He is talking a lot more..well, babbling, but we call it talking here ;) He is rolling and scooting on his head so much he can get all over the living room. He's so amazing! Mabelle is such a big girl, and is so smart, sassy and sweet. She loves her "baby bwother" and has started talking back to us...which results in many minutes spent in time-out. She is finally getting night potty-trained (we've had so much going on, we've put it off)...she's doing really great at naps, and we are just gonna cold turkey night time when we run out of pullups.
