There's not going to be an entire post dedicated to our 2.5hr drive from Omaha to Kearney...and there's only one pic of the controlled burn from that drive anyways :)
We all had a fabulous time in Kearney!! Stayed at our house that we are renting to friends, and it was great...still baby-proofed and familiar (LOL). We got there Wed afternoon, and Jason had appointments every day, including that night. Me and the kids kept super busy while he worked during the day...met with our realtor, played at the park, had portraits done, played at the house with lots of friends, made a trip to ballocity (that Charlee/Shauna, Robyn/Rylee, Sarah/Gus all joined us for), made a few stops around Kearney to say hi to old friends (my old hangout, the babystore & the Buckle), and just tried to relax. We were scheduled to leave Sunday to head home...BUT a blizzard threatened our trip (and closed the interstate), so we hung out for an extra day. (Turns out the snow missed Kearney, but hit everywhere west we had to go thru to get home.) So Sunday we had a lazy day of chili and the Man v. Food marathon.
